Please consider adding the Myasthenia Gravis Association in your will or trust. It is a great way to provide support and leave a legacy for yourself. There are different bequest options available for you to leave a philanthropic gift:
- Provide an exact dollar amount or a percentage of your estate to Myasthenia Gravis Association
- Establish a contingency bequest, where the Myasthenia Gravis Association would receive a share, or all of your estate, in the event other primary beneficiaries do not survive you.
- As an alternative to a direct bequest, establish an interiors/testamentary trust, which would pay income to you and/or named beneficiaries for life. Upon the death of the last beneficiary, a part or the entire principal in the trust would be directed to the Myasthenia Gravis Association.
- A bequest for the Myasthenia Gravis Association may be designated for a specific purpose or be left unrestricted, allowing the board of directors to use your gift for the area of greatest need when received. (In this case, consider including a safeguard contingency statement to redirect if the purpose no longer exists.)
