MARK YOUR CALENDARS & PLAN TO ATTEND – MGA Sosin Education Symposium – October 13, 2019, at Noon at the Inn of St. Johns in Plymouth, MI

The MGA Sosin Education Symposium is scheduled for Sunday, October 13, 2019, at Noon at the Inn of St. Johns in Plymouth, MI. The Guest Speaker is Wayne T. Cornblath, MD, Professor, Department of Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences and Neurology, University of Michigan. The topic for discussion will be The Neuroophthalmologist’s View of Ocular Myasthenia Gravis.

There will be a served lunch.

Dr. Cornblath completed his MD at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. This was followed by internship at Evanston Hospital/Northwestern University, neurology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a neuroophthalmology fellowship at the Wilmer Eye Institute at Johns Hopkins hospital.

He has been on the faculty at University of Michigan since finishing fellowship in 1989. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and the North American Neuroophthalmology Society. His research interests include diagnosis, prognosis and treatment of ocular myasthenia gravis.

The Sosin Education Symposium is so named in honor of Jean and Hilbert Sosin. Both Jean and Hilbert helped to establish the Myasthenia Gravis Association (MGA) over 50 years ago. The Sosin Family continues to assist MGA through sponsorship of this event. MGA is very grateful for this support.
