The Myasthenia Gravis Association offers the following services to patients and families diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis:

  • Personal counseling by a social worker, as requested
  • Patient to patient mentoring/support

  • ID bracelets, necklaces and ID wallet cards
  • Support group meetings
  • Information packets for physicians
  • Information packets for school officials
  • Information for Parents and Teens on Myasthenia Gravis
  • Limited financial assistance for MG prescriptions for those who qualify
  • Information about low cost prescriptions
  • New patient orientation
  • Annual Education Symposium
  • Information on Myasthenia Gravis in Arabic
  • Information on Myasthenia Gravis in Spanish
  • Variety of brochures on specific topics related to MG

New Patient Orientation

An orientation meeting for patient and family can be requested by calling the MG Office, 248-591-4419.  Meetings are normally held in the MG office.  Staff members and other patients can be available to answer questions.  Support Meetings, held in Warren and Ann Arbor provide patient to patient exchange of information.
