February is Membership Renewal month for MGA. Annual renewals are very important to the Myasthenia Gravis Association as they are our lifeline to all of you and to those newly diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis.
Many of you are consistently supportive to MGA, enabling us to continue our services and programs that are designed to help improve the life of those who struggle with this neuromuscular disease. We are asking you to continue your support of MGA and our services as they are imperative in helping to maintain the steadiness of current MG programs, and greatly assist those who are newly diagnosed.
The primary Mission of the Myasthenia Gravis Association is to provide programs and services that will help/assist each of you, including family members, to learn what MG is and how to manage the disease, and offer multiple resources to assist in that mission. Two of our main resources are support meetings held in Warren (Metro) and Ann Arbor. Those meetings have become vital to newly diagnosed persons and our regular members who help others and also learn new information. We want you to know that you are not alone in trying to cope with what is happening to you and, more importantly, to become stabilized with proper medical treatment and other individual support to help you enjoy a normal lifestyle.
Today, we are asking you to join if you are not already a member. Plus, we are asking current members to again renew your membership at $50 or higher, if possible.
Please help MGA continue to provide quality services to all of you and to newly diagnosed persons with Myasthenia Gravis. We also ask you to get one or two or more additional memberships by asking your friends and family to also join MGA. We have members who have continued to support MGA who do not have MG. The more people know about Myasthenia Gravis, the more support will be forthcoming because they understand the seriousness of the disease. To quote many newly diagnosed persons, “we are so glad we found you“!
Thank you for your support.
P.S. Please remember MGA in your Living Will/Estate Planning.
